Remote health monitoring inspired by astronauts

Ejenta, a California startup developing systems for remote health care, is making a platform of Intelligent agents for connected care. These Intelligent agents collect data from sensors and IoT devices to get information about patients, see health improvement or deterioration in advance. Additionally, Intelligent agents provide support to users and advise on health. The startup is using a similar software to monitor high-risk patients at home like the system at NASA to monitor the astronauts health. When astronauts go on a spacewalk, their space suits have sensors that monitor various physiological data, such as their heart rate and body temperature. This information is then sent to NASA and used by the ground-based crew to guide their activities. A similar logic is being used by the startup Ejenta. Read more
