Project by JD.com and Mujin (Startup)
JD.com is a leading Chinese e-commerce company. After the makeover by the Tokyo-based startup Mujin, this warehouse increased the autonomy of its machines.
A 40,000-square-meter warehouse would usually need 400 to 500 human workers. Thanks to innovative use of drones that number is cut down in JD.com’s warehouse to just five.
