In April 2021 Belkin, an accessories market leader delivering home automation solutions, launched Wemo Stage Scene Controller, a smart home device, that can be wall-mounted like a switch and removed from the case when needed for use as a portable remote control. Wemo Stage works with Apple’s HomeKit making the smart home setup more secure. During CES 2022, Belkin announced its plan to add Thread support to the Wemo Stage controller. Thread support is expected to solve Stage’s connectivity issues, facilitate devices control even when they are situated on different floors. Read more
